This^^^^^ God only ever imposed his rules on his people, whether they were the Israelites or Christians. If someone joined the either of those groups they had to follow his rules, but outsiders could do what they pleased. When they joined one of those groups, only then did they have to follow his rules.It is not the role of government to legislate morality. Gay marriage wont harm anyone, or infringe on anyone&#8217;s rights, so there&#8217;s no reason it shouldn&#8217;t be legalized.I believe that marriage is a commitment to your significant other to remain with them for as long as possible, until you die. Who says the government decides who can make that commitment and who can&#8217;t? No group of people should be given that power.
